Important Update: Changes to Facility Rentals
Effective October 1, 2024, we will no longer be offering one-hour batting cage rentals. This decision was made to enhance the overall experience for our guests and will allow us to offer more time to those looking to make a serious commitment to their training and facility usage.
New Booking Policy
- Minimum Hours Booked: Groups must now book a minimum of FOUR (4) hours at a time.
- Minimum Two-Hour Blocks: Each booking will need to be made in a minimum of two-hour blocks.
We believe these changes will allow for more focused training sessions and will improve availability for all our customers. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! We look forward to seeing you at the facility.
We are the home for the serious softball player in the Lower Mainland, and have everything that you need to take your team or individual training to the next level. Our well-lit, clean and accessible facility and batting cage, located in north Richmond (close to Ikea) is ideal for team, small group or individual training sessions. You will never share space with another group, and will have the ability to coach and train in without distractions. Rentals
Our facility is available for rent, please e-mail info@truenorthsoftball.com. Cost is as follows:
- 4 hours: $300 ($75 per hour)
- 8 hours: $560 ($70 per hour)
- 12 hour: $780 ($65 per hour)
- 20+ hours: $1,200 and above (All bookings of 20 or more hours will be invoiced at a cost of $60 per hour)

Schedule
For the winter of 2025, schedule availability is as follows:
- Sundays: Available 6 pm to 10 pm
- Mondays: Available 5 pm to 7 pm
- Tuesday: No availability
- Wednesdays: No availability
- Thursdays: 8 to 10 pm (January 9, 16, 23 only)
- Fridays: No availability
- Saturdays: Available 1 pm to 10 pm
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does your pitching machine have the ability to pitch baseball?
A: No, our pitching machine can only accommodate softballs
Q: Does the pitching machine automatically pitch the balls, or does someone have to feed balls into it?
A: Our pitching machine does NOT automatically pitch, you have to manually feed a ball into it each time. As such, you need a minimum of two people, one to hit and the other to feed balls into the machine.
Q: Do you have any plans to get a machine that automatically pitches?
A: No, not at this time.

A: E-mail info@truenorthsoftball.com with the dates and times that you are looking at (check the schedule above to make sure we have availability). You must commit to a minimum of four hours of facility rentals, and time must be blocked in two-hour increments.
